FAQ
What is Warrantly?
Warrantly is a privacy-first iOS app for ownership lifecycle management: capture fading receipts, track warranties and return windows, mark claims, attach follow-up paperwork, and export a claim dossier.
Is Warrantly a tax or expense receipt scanner?
No. Generic receipt apps optimize for bookkeeping. Warrantly optimizes for warranties, returns, and claim-ready proof.
Where is my data stored?
By default, documents and metadata stay in an on-device vault with on-device OCR. No account is required to start. See the privacy policy.
Does the free version export claim PDFs?
Yes. Free users can share a standard claim packet. Pro adds multi-page dossiers, flattened redaction, live eSCL scanning, unlimited items, and consented import paths.
How do I try Warrantly without a physical scanner?
Load the Demo Household, then use Scan via Network → Office Scanner Pro (Simulated). It works offline without Local Network permission.
Can I attach credit notes after a claim?
Yes. Credit notes, vouchers, replacement invoices, and settlements attach to the same principal item so history stays intact.
Does Warrantly give legal advice?
No. Category claim playbooks are organizational checklists only — not legal advice.
