Warrantly is designed to keep purchase and warranty documents on your device. The default experience uses on-device storage, on-device OCR, and no account.

Data processed on your device
- Receipt and invoice images you capture or import
- Extracted metadata (merchant, dates, amounts, serials, order numbers)
- Warranty, return, and claim dates you enter
- Optional local preferences (demo flags, Pro entitlement cache, ingest consent)
Data we do not collect by default
- No advertising identifiers
- No analytics SDKs in the default build described here
- No sale of personal data
- No third-party tracking domains for vault contents
Purchases
Optional Pro unlocks use Apple’s StoreKit. Apple processes payment data under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Network features
Local Network permission is used only to discover scanners and printers on your Wi‑Fi. Simulated scanning works without granting Local Network access.
Email & folder ingest (Pro)
These features run only after on-device consent. Warrantly does not host a mailbox and does not auto-forward your email. Imports you choose are processed on device.
Firebase
The apps are registered with Firebase project infrastructure for future optional services. The current iOS build initializes Firebase Core with data collection defaults disabled (FIREBASE_DATA_COLLECTION_DEFAULT_ENABLED = false) and does not enable Analytics, Crashlytics, Authentication, or cloud vault sync unless separately disclosed in an updated policy and App Privacy labels.
Children
Warrantly is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
Your choices
- Delete items and demo data inside the app
- Revoke notification, camera, photo, or Local Network permissions in iOS Settings
- Uninstall the app to remove the on-device vault
Changes
If we add cloud backup, accounts, or collecting SDKs, we will update this page, in-app disclosures, and store privacy labels before those features ship.
